TP Steward

A TP Steward is a person accredited by AERA who takes the horse’s temperature and pulse (heart rate) pre-ride and during the event. This is to ensure that the horse is in a fit and healthy condition to ride the event.

We are always needing more TP stewards to volunteer at rides, if you wish to learn more, please refer to the Accreditation page on AERA or click the link below.

WAERA generally run a TP course during the Easter Marathon each year.

Pencillers in the vet ring at rides are always needed and a great way to see what being a TP person is all about.
